Cop Being Prosecuted?

Surpising... to me

I've watched numerous arrest recordings where the actions of my clients and law enforcement do not match the observations written in the arrest reports. These inconsistencies range from the driving actions of my client, i.e.. driving all over the road, crossing center line etc... to physical observations such as staggering, unable to keep balance and on and on. In one proceeding, the trooper actually volunteered to demonstrate the driver's staggered walk and demonstrated it for the judge. However, the recording showed no such staggered walk and the case was dismissed. Nothing happened to the trooper for being untruthful.

You can imagine my surprise when seeing the following story from my friend and fellow DUI attorney Josh Lee. A cop is facing perjury charges for untruthful testimony.  The case for access to dash cams in strengthened.
