Unusual School Zones

Posted by Alan Woodland | Nov 05, 2020 | 0 Comments

With the school zones becoming active intermittently, due to Covid-19, we thought it important to review the penalty for not stopping for a school bus.

Upon a conviction for failing to stop and remained stopped for a school bus loading and unloading children, the driver will lose driving privileges for one whole year. There is no "work permit" or modified license option.

It's also my experience from frequently being in court and from my time as a traffic judge, that judge's are not easily convinced to grant probation on school zone speeding tickets!

Be safe!
